Bank Payments: Reference Codes, Processing Times & Common Issues

Overview

Bank payments can be used to complete your purchase, but the reference code from the payment page must be included on the transfer.

This is the most important part of the process.

When our bank receives the payment with the correct reference code attached, your purchase can be matched and credited automatically.

If the reference is missing, changed, or stripped by the bank, the payment may not be credited automatically.

The Most Important Rule: Always Include the Reference Code

When making a bank payment:

  1. Open the payment page and copy your reference code.

  2. Add that code to the bank transfer reference / memo / message field.

  3. Send the payment only after confirming the reference is attached correctly.

Do not skip this.

One reference code can only be used once.

US Customers: Use ACH, Not Wire

If you are in the United States, you should use ACH whenever possible.

Wire transfers usually cost much more in fees and may also lose the payment reference more easily.

That makes ACH the safer and more practical option for US bank payments.

Processing Times by Region

Typical speeds:

  • UK / AU / NZ: usually instant
  • EU: instant to around 1-2 days
  • US: can take quite a while, so bank payment is possible but usually slower than other regions

Turkish Customers

Turkish customers are known to sometimes have their transfer reference stripped by the bank.

If you are a Turkish customer and your purchase has still not been credited after a few days, please contact support and include:

  • your reference code
  • your last name

This helps us check the payment manually.

Sending a Screenshot Does Not Speed Things Up

Sending a screenshot of the transfer does not make the payment arrive faster and does not speed up automatic crediting.

The important part is whether the payment arrives with the correct reference attached.

If Your Payment Is Taking Too Long

If the wait seems too long, please contact support.

When you do, include:

  • your reference code
  • your last name
  • the currency used
  • the amount sent
  • any other useful payment details

If something went wrong or a mistake was made, we will do our best to sort it out.

Final Reminder

If you pay by bank transfer, you must always include the reference code from the payment page.

Without that reference, automatic crediting may fail.
