Security Check Failed, Broken Links, and MEGA Problems

Where Did the Error Appear?

First identify whether the error is on Leakshaven or after the browser has opened MEGA.

Leakshaven Security Check Failed

If the error appears on a Leakshaven page or before the external link opens:

  1. Allow JavaScript and cookies.
  2. Disable Brave Shields or aggressive blocking for the page.
  3. Disable VPN, proxy, Tor, or relay.
  4. Try another supported browser.
  5. Avoid opening many links rapidly.

If it still fails, contact support with the Leakshaven page URL, exact error, browser, connection type, and approximate time.

MEGA Error or Empty Folder

If Leakshaven successfully redirects you and the error appears on MEGA, the host may have removed the folder, changed access, or blocked the browser verification. Try MEGA in another browser. Leakshaven cannot repair MEGA account or application problems.

Broken Indexed Content

Use the report/feedback control on the item when available. Include the exact model or item page, not only a temporary get-link URL. Support can record the broken item but cannot promise a replacement.
